High Velocity Paintball has two different
ways to string commands together. Buttons and Alias's. Buttons are
shown on the right side of your screen. By right clicking a button you can
program a command string into it.
By right clicking on one of these empty buttons you can program
it to execute a command string.![]()

Once you have right clicked an empty button, this "edit button" window will pop up. The Caption slot will be the button title (IE Reload). Any information entered in the Tips slot will appear when your mouse hovers over the new button.
The commands section is where you put in your commands. Entering commands here is the same as you would do any other way except that you leave the / out.
Here is an example of the caption and commands being input, and also a finished button.

An alias is a great way to execute long commands (up to 100 lines). To open the Alias window hit CTL A. Or click view-alias.

This is the alias window. From here you can create a new alias by simply entering an alias name in the 'alias name' slot. Then enter your commands in the space below it. Entering commands into Alias's is exactly the same as entering commands in buttons. Do not use a / when entering these commands.
Once your alias is done click "update" then "done".
Here is an example of inputting an alias.

You can also make your character move using an alias. If you want to setup an alias that buys equipment from different stores, use E, W, S, and N for character movement. The letters stand for the direction you want your char to move. N=North, S= South, E=East, and W=West.
Once you have finished your alias simply type the name of the alias in the command input line. To execute the alias pictured above, simply type /reload gun.
TIP: Alias's only let you use 100 lines. Well lets say you have an alias that gives you a complete heavy weapon setup and completely reloads you. What do you do if this alias goes over 100 lines? Answer: Add more buttons to your client using Options-general options. Then using an empty button program it with your commands. Buttons have no limits on number of commands.
