Classes of HVPB

By Viper12

High Velocity Paintball has 8 classes that you can play.  Trooper, Veteran Trooper, Scout, Infiltrator, Sniper, Heavy Weapons, Engineer, and Officer.  When you first log into hvpb you will be a trooper.  Once you have leveled up to level 10, you will get to choose from one of the classes.  Below is a brief overview of each class.  Next to each description is a link to the strategy section for each class.  The strategy section will teach you how to play that class vs each other class in regular games and in tournament games.  Enjoy.

Vet Troopers are "all around" players.  They have a variety of weapons available to them.  As they rank up they become more powerful, getting access to turrets.  This class is quick and has decent armor and camouflage.  Click HERE for the Vet Trooper Strategy Section.

Infiltrators are the sneaky class.  They have excellent camo and other "silent" features.  They have excellent short range weapons but lack serious firepower.  Have an assortment of mines and grenades to go along with decent armor. Click HERE for the Infiltrator Strategy Section.

Scouts are the fastest of all classes.  Their primary weapons are a short range pistol, a spray can and grenades.  The scout lacks armor and long range weapons. Click HERE for the Scout Strategy Section.

The Sniper is an extremely powerful class.  When wearing the sniper rifle this class has extreme vision and range.  However the rifle slows him down considerably and leaves him vulnerable to short range attacks.  Sniper bullets can go through trees and jungle, even through some armor.  Click HERE for the Sniper Strategy Section.

The Heavy Weapons class is slow but packs firepower.  This class has access to the rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and miniguns.  Fast reload time, excellent modifications, and the ability to carry a lot of ammunition make this class powerful.  To change to this class you must reach level 30. Click HERE for the Heavy Weapon Strategy Section.

An Engineer specializes in turrets and bots.  He can deploy a maximum of 3 bots at a time that go out and fight for him.  He has excellent armor but lacks long range firepower.  You must be level 20 before you can pick this class. Click HERE for the Engineer Strategy Section.
